Clinical and Research Neuropsychologist — Dr. Stephanie R. Johnson is the CEO of Cognitive Solutions LLC and a leading clinical and research neuropsychologist dedicated to transforming how complex neurological conditions are understood and evaluated. Drawing on her training at Johns Hopkins and Duke University, she combines the highest standards of scientific excellence with a deeply patient-centered approach. Dr. Johnson is also a respected forensic expert, partnering with legal professionals to provide clear, evidence-based neuropsychological evaluations that inform critical decisions. Her vision drives the mission of Cognitive Solutions — delivering trusted, compassionate cognitive care to every client we serve.

Chief of Staff — Mr. Pace serves as the Chief of Staff where he leads operational strategy, business development, and organizational support initiatives for the practice. Drawing from an extensive background in leadership, compliance, and program management, he works closely with clinical and administrative teams to streamline operations and support the delivery of compassionate, patient centered care. His focus is on strengthening internal systems, supporting sustainable growth, and helping advance the mission of Cognitive Solutions throughout the community.

Forensic Psychologist — Dr. Williams is a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of expertise in forensic and clinical psychology. Formerly with the Federal Bureau of Prisons and DC Superior Court, she specializes in competency to stand trial, risk evaluations, and mitigation assessments. A recognized expert witness in federal court, she provides high-level forensic consultation and psychological evaluations for complex trauma and severe mental illness.​*Therapy sessions are available virtually.

Forensic Psychologist — Dr. Blackwell is a licensed psychology associate with specialized expertise in psychoeducational, forensic, and reproductive psychology. A George Washington University doctoral graduate and Army veteran, she provides comprehensive assessments for children and adults, including service-connected disability evaluations for veterans. Dr. Blackwell is a Hansell Award recipient recognized for her skill in clinical assessment across the DC Superior Courts and private practice.

Clinical Neuropsychologist — Dr. Evans is a Postdoctoral Fellow who provides comprehensive, patient-centered neuropsychological assessments for individuals with a wide range of neurological and chronic health conditions. Drawing on experience in both community mental health and inpatient forensic settings, she integrates cognitive and emotional insights to support accurate diagnosis and meaningful treatment planning. Trained through an APA-accredited program, Dr. Evans is committed to delivering culturally responsive care across the DC Metro area.

Clinical Neuropsychologist — Dr. Hassan is a Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellow who earned her doctorate from The George Washington University. With clinical experience across the lifespan in inpatient, outpatient, and veteran settings, she specializes in assessing neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental conditions. Dr. Hassan integrates psychodynamic and dialectical behavioral therapies to provide evidence-based, culturally attentive care.  *Therapy sessions are available both in person and virtually.

Clinical and Research Neuropsychologist — Dr. Ramírez Ruiz is a Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellow and Howard University alumna specializing in neuropsychological assessment, with a focus on neurodegenerative conditions. Dr. Ramírez Ruiz has experience working with individuals with dementia and other medical and psychiatric conditions that affect cognitive functioning. She also offers support and guidance to caregivers navigating dementia and related conditions. Dr. Ramírez Ruiz provides services in both English and Spanish and is committed to delivering culturally informed care to diverse communities.

Forensic Psychologist — Dr. Smith is a registered psychology associate specializing in forensic and clinical psychological evaluations. She has extensive experience conducting court-ordered assessments and comprehensive evaluations across legal, clinical, and correctional settings. Dr. Smith is committed to delivering clear, evidence-based insights that support informed decision-making for courts, attorneys, and clients.

Clinical Operations Manager — Ashia is the Clinical Operations Manager at Cognitive Solutions LLC, overseeing daily operations and practice efficiency. With over five years of experience and academic training in Health Administration, she has been instrumental in the practice's growth. Ashia focuses on operational leadership and process improvement to ensure a seamless and professional experience for both clinical staff and clients.

Administrative Assistant — Roben serves as the Administrative Assistant at Cognitive Solutions LLC, where she manages the essential functions of the practice. With expertise in scheduling, record keeping, and marketing coordination, she ensures a seamless experience for every client.
